Reporting Center (Day, Evening & Weekends)

The Reporting Center program is an alternative to detention for juvenile offenders who would usually be detained in the Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center. This community-based program offers supervision and counseling to youth seven days a week through the RC staff.

Our goal at the RC is to help juveniles reduce their risk of reoffending. We achieve this by:

• Providing highly structured, well-supervised individual and group activities.
• Offering opportunities for adolescents to enhance their strengths and gain new skills.
• Ensuring that they attend court appearances as required, reducing the likelihood of re-arrest and enabling the minor to continue attending school and remain at home
