YOS believes that our communities are our most significant resources.
YOS’s community partners include schools, coalitions, community-based organizations, and social service agencies. Our staff engage with the community through additional activities such as Drug Take Back Days, Communication Campaigns, Youth Advisory Committees, and events during National Prevention Week. YOS staff also serve on various boards and coalitions, including:
- Chicago Prevention Alliance
- Community Alliance
- Northwest Chicago Community Alliance
- Lurie Children’s Youth Substance Use Prevention Coalition
- Coalition for a Drug-Free Lyons Township
