Beth Spallone joined Youth Outreach Services (YOS) in June 2022, bringing a 360-degree perspective on philanthropy, marketing, and communications. Prior to YOS, Beth provided strategic leadership to nonprofit organizations addressing mental health, substance use disorders, crisis intervention, homelessness, and suicide prevention. Throughout her career, she has successfully secured funding from a wide range of sources, including federal, state, and local grants, as well as foundation and corporate partners.
With more than 25 years of experience, Beth has led teams across both agency and nonprofit sectors, primarily in senior leadership roles. Her work has helped organizations effectively tell their stories, strengthen brand awareness, and deepen community engagement. Beth brings deep expertise in marketing and digital media, which has been instrumental in driving successful fundraising and donor engagement strategies.
As Director of Philanthropy, Beth oversees YOS’s comprehensive fundraising strategy, leads donor and major gift engagement, and manages marketing, social media, and donor communications. She plays a key role in advancing the organization’s mission by aligning storytelling, relationship-building, and resource development. Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Minnesota Duluth, with minors in Journalism and Psychology.
