On November 13, 2025, Youth Outreach Services (YOS) proudly gathered supporters, partners, and friends at Allsteel for our annual Art of Wine & Chocolate fundraiser. The evening was filled with laughter, connection, and generosity, creating a warm and welcoming space for our community to come together in support of Chicago’s youth. Thanks to the incredible enthusiasm and commitment of our guests, the event became the most successful fundraiser in YOS history, raising more than $50,000 to directly support our life-changing programs.
This year’s event centered the voices and experiences of the young people we serve. Guests had the powerful opportunity to hear firsthand stories from two YOS youth who shared their journeys of perseverance, growth, and achievement. Through moments of challenge and transition, these young people reached meaningful milestones and demonstrated remarkable resilience. Their stories served as a moving reminder of the impact that consistent support, mentorship, and opportunity can have—and why YOS’s mission is so vital.
The evening also included a special recognition of Xavier Martillo, YOS Outreach Director, whose exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication have strengthened our organization and expanded our reach. Xavier’s commitment to empowering youth and families has played a critical role in shaping programs that are responsive, compassionate, and effective. His work continues to create pathways to stability and success for young people across our community, and we are deeply grateful for his leadership.
