Jeri Smith is a seasoned entrepreneur and sales executive with a proven track record of driving growth and building successful companies. In 1999, she founded Galmont Consulting, a software testing firm that she expanded into a $20 million enterprise with more than 200 employees. The company was later acquired by Software Quality Systems AG (SQS), the world’s largest independent software quality firm.
Today, Jeri continues to lead innovative ventures as the founder of Liv2Gather, a luxury real estate development company, and Galmont Legal, a boutique legal staffing firm.
Before launching her entrepreneurial career, Jeri served as National Sales Director for Spherion Technology Architects, a global IT consulting firm employing more than 5,000 consultants. She also held key sales and management positions at InterCall Corporation (now part of West Corporation), the world’s largest privately held conferencing services provider.
Jeri is an active member of Hyde Park Angels, the Midwest’s largest angel investing organization, and the Economic Club of Chicago. She also serves on the Advisory Board for the University of Kentucky College of Computer Science and Engineering.
Committed to giving back, Jeri supports Safe Families, which provides volunteer respite care for children in need, and serves on the Vestry of Grace Episcopal Church of Hinsdale, where she leads the annual community estate sale benefiting local outreach efforts.
