At Youth Outreach Services, our volunteers are an invaluable source of support, actively furthering our mission to care for youth, inspiring positive development in their lives, families and communities.
All volunteers have talents and abilities to share, and we partner with each to identify unique opportunities that provide positive, lasting results. There are many ways in which our volunteers share their time and talents. Whether an individual or group, there are many ways you can offer support:
- Become a mentor, and share real world knowledge with kids preparing for adulthood.
- Become a tutor, and encourage the academic success of youth.
- Provide educational workshops, such as martial arts, creative writing, and arts and crafts.
- Provide a job shadowing opportunity for a youth preparing for a career.
- Volunteer for a special event, such as our annual golf outing.
- Plan a small event, such as a holiday fundraiser or school supply drive.
- Help with the improvement of our facilities, including painting, landscaping and clean-up.
